Working with us
No funded openings right now. PostIdea is pre-revenue and bootstrapped. We are not going to post roles we cannot pay for.
That said, this page is not a placeholder. Here is the honest state of things, so you can decide whether it is worth your time.
Where we are
A small team in Karachi builds PostIdea. The product is live, the pipeline runs end to end, and we are in the middle of the least glamorous part of any product's life: finding out whether people will pay for it. Hiring comes after that answer, not before.
What we would hire for first
When there is revenue to hire against, in this order:
- Backend engineer (Python / FastAPI / PostgreSQL) — the verification pipeline, entitlement enforcement, and provider abstraction across multiple LLM vendors. Correctness under concurrency matters more here than speed of shipping.
- Frontend engineer (React) — the spec and verification surfaces. Dense, stateful UI where the hard part is making a long-running async pipeline legible to someone waiting on it.
- Developer-focused go-to-market — writing and outreach aimed at freelance developers, not enterprise buyers. Not a growth-hacking role.
How to be first in line
Send an email to hello@postidea.app with:
- What you have built. A repository, a shipped product, or a written teardown of something you fixed. Not a résumé summary of it.
- Which of the three areas above you would want.
- One thing on postidea.app you think is wrong, and why.
The third one is the actual filter. We keep every reply and go back through them when a role opens.
What we will not do
We will not run unpaid trials, spec work, or "build this feature and we'll see." If we ask you to do work, we pay for it.
